Electronic Patient Record and Kent and Medway Care Record

Electronic Patient Record and Kent and Medway Care Record

Programme to be published in April 2021.

Jack Tabner, Director of Transformation at Medway NHS Foundation Trust, speaks to Centric:

“As we finalise our Business Case and gain the necessary Board and Regulatory approvals this month, we look forward to beginning our EPR journey in 2021, deploying Allscripts Sunrise. This is a major step towards paperless and more personalised care.”

This will coincide with a significant amount of work the trust is doing across the county to populate their local health and care record, the KMCR, in Kent and Medway with suppliers, Graphnet.

This is effectively an umbrella database that draws relevant information from existing systems; and then makes it available to those that need to use it – doctors, nurses, care workers, paramedics, and, importantly, to individual patients and the public so they can see their own data.
