Centric Health TV’s Douglas Hamandishe speaks to Rachael Garrett and Ursula Clarke about the Rapid Insights and Learning QI tool.

Centric Health TV’s Douglas Hamandishe speaks to Rachael Garrett and Ursula Clarke about the Rapid Insights and Learning QI tool.

Ursula, Patient Safety Lead at Kent Surrey Sussex Patient Safety Collaborative (KSS PSC), talks about how they ‘borrowed’ Rapid Insights from Wessex AHSN. The approach was first used to share learning and experiences from the COVID remote monitoring deployment as part of KSS PSC’s National Patient Safety Improvement Programme (NatPatSIP) – one of five workstreams that KSS PSC is commissioned to work on by NHS E/I.

Rachael talks about her role as Quality Intelligence Manager for Kent & Medway CCG and the success of using the Rapid Insights approach in MatNeo particularly around escalation of deterioration and the quality of insights and actionable outcomes gained. She goes on to talk about how they can now share wider Quality Improvement (QI) learning across the wider health & social safety agenda.
